WebSep 27, 2009 · With sealed enclosures I have noticed huge differences by useing polly-fill in the propper sealed enlcosures. In my opinion if you know how to use poly-fill propperly you should see no negative results and far better sound quality. The rule of thumb is 1 pound to 1.5 pounds of poly-fill per cubic foot. WebAdding/removing poly-fill stuffing. Changing the box volume - In old (decades ago) cheap systems, sometimes putting a brick in the speaker made it sound better. The brick would effectively decrease the box volume. Today, you can experiment by adding wood to the speaker to see if it sounds better.
