Web15 de dic. de 2024 · After refilling the radiator and purging the system I found that the driver side vents blew full hot air but the passenger side vents only blew cool air. The coolant system appears to be fully purged and the radiator level is full. From my understanding gthere are no Valves in the cooling system to cause a restriction inside the heater core. Web8 de mar. de 2014 · Usually the driver will be cold and the passenger warm. The solution is an aggressive flush of the heater core and radiator system. Prestone makes a good DIY kit that you can find at Walmart. It’s best if you disconnect the two heater hoses going into the firewall and flush backwards and forwards with a garden hose.

The right vent was blowing 75°F air, center-right blowing 105° Air, the center-left vent blowing 123° air, and far-left one blowing 140° air. Do this for 10 minutes twice. it’s possible you have air trapped in the heater core - doing this could help clear it out. The design used on these vehicles allows for hot water to flow constantly and compete with the evaporator as there is no blender door. You have to replace the valve and possibly the control head.
